IONIZATION SYSTEM

Ionization System:
The water ionization process needs certain time to attain the ideal grade of concentration that allows the PSA Iontrix 2 to fulfil all its properties. That time depends on the size of your pool, the weather conditions and how much it is used. For example, for a capacity of 20,000 litres, the ionization period is of about 24 hours. For other volumes, it should be made a proportional calculation. It is really important to keep the water suitably disinfected during such period, until it reaches the appropriate concentration of metallic ions.

It has a rechargeable battery that provides greater energy, thus achieving a better ionization power. Besides, it helps you saving in the costs of chemical products and electricity.

Ionization process
The PSA Iontrix 2 is a sealed unit that has a rechargeable battery inside. The energy produced by that battery –completely harmless for people and animals (fishes included) - is transmitted to a pair of electrodes that, when in contact with the water, produces the release of metallic ions. These ions, when spread in the water, avoid the growing of any kind of microscopic life and make that the water of your pool be always clean and clear. Thanks to the fact that the battery is inside of a hermetic container, it doesn’t damage the environment.
